Committee Scope

The promotion of knowledge; the stimulation of research; the development of specifications and test methods; the interpretation and significance of tests; definitions of terminology; and recommended practices related to engine coolants. The work of this Committee will be coordinated with other ASTM Committees and other organizations having mutual interest. The area of interest of the Committee is the performance of products or materials that are used as, or in, engine coolants or an engine coolant system.
