Committee Scope

The Committee shall prepare standards, relating to the manufacturing and use of manufactured-masonry units of fired clay and shale, concrete, sand-lime and plastic coatings for such units, and except for test methods, for site or plant prefabrication masonry building elements of these units. Units for use as refractories are excluded from the scope of the Committee.
The work of the Committee will be coordinated with other ASTM Committees and other organizations having mutual interest.
