Committee D33 on Protective Coating and Lining Work for Power Generation Facilities

ASTM Committee D33 on Protective Coatings for Power Generation Facilities was formed in 1979. D33 meets once a year, in January, with about 40 members attending two days of technical meetings, including representation from regulatory agencies. Meetings include a symposium or workshop on relevant topics in the area of protective coatings for power generation facilities. The committee, with a membership of 61 industry professionals and experts, currently has jurisdiction over 32 standards, published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 06.02. The committee has 7 technical subcommittees. The portfolio of approved standards and Work Items under development are available from the List of Subcommittees, Standards and Work Items below. These standards have, and continue to play, a preeminent role in all aspects important to coatings for power generation facilities.
