Committee D31 on Leather

ASTM Committee D31 on Leather was formed in 1971. D31 meets twice a year, usually in April and October, with about 20 members attending two days of technical meetings. The Committee, with a current membership of 56, has jurisdiction over 131 standards, published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 15.04. D31 has 8 technical subcommittees that maintain jurisdiction over these standards. These standards have and continue to play a preeminent role in all aspects important to the industry including: properties, classification, nomenclature, analysis, quality assurance and end-use performance requirements.
