Committee E18 on Sensory Evaluation of Materials and Products sponsored the symposium. J. J. Powers, University of Georgia College of Agriculture, presided as a symposium chairman, and H. R. Moskowitz, U.S. Army Natick Laboratories, served as symposium co-chairman.
